In this episode of CSN, the coaches welcome Mississippi State Head Women’s Soccer coach James Armstrong to discuss his journey from Scotland to Starkville. They debut a new segment called “Question the Coaches” to kick off the show. They talk to The Big Deal about COVID’s impact on parity in NCAA Sports and rehash some weekend Women’s soccer results They also ramble on about the RPI, and give a shoutout to BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood on her 400^th career win.  The Power 5 has to do with food (shocking) and they end the show with a couple TV suggestions.

College Soccer Nation Episode 22: Mr. 500 with Schellas Hyndman

In this episode of CSN, Chris talks with Hall Of Famer Schellas Hyndman. They discuss Schellas’s journey to America as a young boy from China. Schellas talks about his martial arts training, and his experience in the college soccer. There’s further discussion on coaching in the MLS and the tactics of 4-4-2. Finally Schellas discusses his plans for retirement. The coaches also review the weekend of soccer action across the NCAA, they introduce a new feature called "Tell me something good", and they conclude with a Power 5 that makes the producer quit.

Happy New Year. In this episode of CSN, the coaches talk to ESPN multisport play-by-play announcer Mike Watts on his road from Fordham to Bristol and his experiences as a national collegiate sports voice. They also talk to The Big Deal about the upcoming spring Women's soccer season as well as the intricacies of the upcoming NWSL draft and implications for players.  

In honor of New Year's resolutions they discuss the Top 5 vegetables and finish up with another annoying cliche.

College Soccer Nation Episode 15: The Supersized Holiday Special

In this supersized episode Chris and Matt discuss the NCAA not allowing extra practice days for soccer in the spring, the NWSL Draft waiver with the Big Deal and attempt to briefly discuss Liverpool's sustained excellence. They then welcome Ole Miss Sports Psychologist Josie Nicholson to discuss coping for collegiate athletes in the time of COVID and how susceptible Matt is to hypnosis. A special Power 5 welcomes the coaches spouses who discuss the Top 5 things the coaches do to annoy them (big props to them for narrowing it down to 5). They close up with an annoying sports cliche and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season.

In this episode of CSN Matt “defunks” Chris’ argument regarding whether or not Ohio State should be in the Big Ten Championship. They discuss the Army/Navy game with the Big Deal and discuss the transfer rules for college athletes. They then welcome Chicago Redstars Keeper Coach Rade Tanaskovic and dive into his career arc from Serbia to Chicago.  The Power 5 rates holiday movies, and after that argument is solved, the coach’s cliché brings forth more dissension.
